Bookings

Solent Dolphin operates the M/V ALISON MacGREGOR for the purpose of taking people who are frail, elderly or living with disabilities out to sea. Demand for places from the intended range of clients is pleasingly high. Our services are not intended for use by the general public and therefore we regret that inappropriate bookings will not be accepted. If you are eligible for a trip on the Alison MacGregor, please use the calendar and forms below to make a provisional booking.

Using this automated system whenever possible will help reduce our administration, which is totally reliant on voluntary support. If you are simply unable to book in this way or have any questions - please email bookings@solentdolphin.co.uk or call our booking line on 07770 565299 (with answerphone). Messages will be picked up but allow plenty of time for a response, given the voluntary nature of the monitoring.

Bookings are open for May to July. Availability for Aug and Sept will be released at the start of June and July respectively. To Book: First select a trip on the calendar with enough free spaces:

After selecting the trip (date and time) you need to provide the following information. Hover over the ? for more help.

Enter the total number of passengers (including wheelchair users and carers) and separately enter how many passengers will require a wheelchair space on board. We can carry a maximum total of 12 passengers of which 6 may use wheelchair spaces. If your wheelchair spaces exceed 50% of your passenger numbers please obtain approval by emailing bookings@solentdolphin.co.uk or calling our booking line on 07770 565299.

After you click Book Now you will receive an email registering your provisional booking.  When we have checked the details your booking will be confirmed or rejected in a second email.

If you are making multiple bookings at the same time - take care to ensure that passenger and wheelchair numbers are correctly recorded in follow-on bookings.
